A dynamic organization based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town is looking to employ a Sales Manager with 5–7 years’ experience in FMCG / Retail sector

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Matric Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (advantageous) Willingness to travel extensively, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle 5-7 years' experience in FMCG & Retail Sector Must have experience in managing a sales team Proven success in new business development and consistently exceeding sales targets Experience leading field sales and merchandising teams Solid understanding of route-to-market strategies and in-store execution Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools Develop and execute a regional sales and growth strategy aligned to company objectives Identify and secure new business opportunities within retail groups, independents, and wholesale channels Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of Sales Representatives and Merchandisers Drive in-store excellence, including merchandising standards, planogram compliance, and stock availability
