An established global warehouse solutions and automation organisation is looking for a commercially driven Sales Product Specialist – VSU to grow its footprint across South Africa and the broader SADC region. This is a true hunter-style opportunity combining new business development, technical solution selling, account management and warehouse optimisation.

POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity You will take ownership of identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities for vertical storage units and related warehouse\/storage solutions , while developing existing customer accounts. This is not simply a product-sales role. You will engage directly with customers, understand their warehouse and storage challenges, conduct site assessments and develop solutions that help businesses maximise storage capacity and improve warehouse efficiency . Key Responsibilities Drive new business development across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, distribution, mining, agriculture and automotive Prospect aggressively through cold calling, networking, customer visits and industry events Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and site visits through solution development, proposal, negotiation and closing Conduct warehouse assessments and site surveys to understand customer requirements Develop and present tailored vertical storage and warehouse solutions Prepare professional quotations and technical and commercial proposals Participate in tenders and develop competitive submissions Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts Develop long-term relationships with key customer decision-makers Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts Work closely with Design and Operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically accurate Monitor competitor activity, market trends and emerging customer requirements Maintain accurate CRM information, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting What We're Looking For Matric \/ Grade 12 Sales, Marketing or Business qualification would be advantageous Minimum 3-5 years' external sales experience within storage systems or material handling solutions Proven track record in B2B sales and new business development Experience selling industrial products, warehouse solutions, storage systems, material handling equipment or related solutions Understanding of warehouse operations and basic warehouse design principles Knowledge of vertical storage units would be highly advantageous Ability to understand warehouse layouts, plans and storage-system specifications Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation and closing skills CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency Who Will Excel in This Role?
