Scrum Master

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a Scrum Master has experience and proven track in managing projects within an agile custom development environment. The successful Scrum Master will be responsible for owning the delivery of numerous Agile projects on an end-to-end basis in demanding customer environments. What you’ll do: Collaborate with development teams, Product Owners, Feature Analysts, and delivery managers to identify process inefficiencies and define a prioritized Agile improvement roadmap for predictable delivery Act as a high-velocity communicator, ensuring transparency on scope changes, risks, delays, and dependencies across stakeholders Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) efficiently and in line with best practices Ensure teams stay aligned to sprint goals, enforcing Agile processes and providing continuous feedback Drive continuous improvement through retrospective actions and ongoing optimization of team practices Coach and mentor teams to improve Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness Provide reporting and insights on Agile performance, progress, and process improvements Enable collaboration across teams by managing dependencies and removing impediments Partner with Product Owners to protect sprint commitments and maintain a refined, prioritized backlog Ensure all work meets Definition of Ready standards before entering development Enforce and educate stakeholders on structured development request processes Promote effective use of Agile tools through research, implementation, and team enablement Elicit and analyze business needs, translating them into clear, structured requirements Maintain a well-defined product backlog with clear acceptance criteria and business rules Ensure solutions are delivered on time, meet business requirements, and maintain high quality Support release activities including preparation of release notes Conduct post go-live reporting and track delivery outcomes Develop and maintain user guides and supporting documentation Ensure alignment with governance, risk, and compliance requirements in regulated environments Assist in managing delivery risks, dependencies, and release coordination across complex programmes Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure backlog feasibility and alignment to architectural and regulatory constraints Your expertise: Must have at least 6 years’ experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master within an Agile environment Scrum Master Certification (PSM or CSM) preferred Must have solid experience and understanding of Scrum principles Proven experience within a product-driven and custom development environment Ability to understand technical issues at a high level Ability to coach multiple teams to reach their highest potential and meet deadlines Proven ability to work independently without supervision while driving decisions in a collaborative manner High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across a wide range of stakeholders, including Developers, Testers, Product Owners, senior management, and executives Knowledge of and exposure to other software development methodologies, project management frameworks, and related concepts Experience supporting Agile delivery within complex organisational structures involving multiple teams, vendors, and governance forums Comfortable working in environments requiring coordination between Agile delivery and enterprise-level planning, reporting, and assurance processes Personal Attributes: Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Confidence to express ideas as part of a creative team. Excellent communication (written, oral) and interpersonal skills. A Self-Starter capable of working under pressure.
