Are you an experienced enterprise sales professional with a proven ability to build executive relationships, win new business and deliver strong revenue growth? An established organisation is looking for a Senior Account Manager to manage strategic enterprise customers, identify new business opportunities and drive profitable growth across the private sector. 📍 Location: Gauteng 💼 Business Unit: Sales & Marketing 🎯 Function: Sales What you'll be responsible for You will take end-to-end ownership of key customer relationships, from prospecting and opportunity development through to solution positioning, negotiation and deal closure. Key responsibilities include: - Prospecting and acquiring new enterprise customers - Developing and managing strategic customer accounts - Building strong relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers - Understanding customer strategies, priorities and business challenges - Identifying and positioning relevant technology solutions to meet customer needs - Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline - Driving opportunities from initial engagement through to purchase order - Achieving revenue and gross profit targets - Leading customer engagements and coordinating internal solution and service teams - Preparing account plans, sales forecasts and performance reports - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records - Staying ahead of market trends, competitors and industry developments - Delivering an exceptional customer experience and acting as a trusted business partner What we're looking for We're looking for a commercially driven, self-motivated and results-oriented sales professional who brings: ✅ Proven experience as an Enterprise \/ Strategic Account Manager ✅ Experience selling complex technology, solutions or services into large organisations ✅ A proven track record of acquiring new customers and exceeding sales targets ✅ Strong C-suite engagement and relationship-management skills ✅ Excellent negotiation and deal-closing abilities ✅ Strong understanding of sales pipelines, forecasting and account planning ✅ Ability to translate customer business challenges into commercially relevant solutions ✅ Strong knowledge of CRM systems and sales performance metrics ✅ Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills ✅ Strong analytical and commercial skills ✅ Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment ✅ Relevant degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field ✅ A strong understanding of enterprise technology and industry trends would be advantageous Why this opportunity?
