JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose:

  • Take full accountability for the strategic positioning, relationship management, operational delivery, client satisfaction, financial performance (revenue and cost) and growth of dedicated accounts to ensure account growth and profitability

Formal Education:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree in ICT/IS (Advantegeous)

Experiemce:

  • 6-8 year sales/account management experience in the ICT/Service Sector

Technical/Legal certification:

  • Relevant OEM and product certifications

Responsibilities:

Financial Perspective:

Business Development:

  • Manage, monitor and track the revenue and margin in line with board approved budgets and regularly update forecasts per service asset per account
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle (prospecting, value creation, negotiation and the closing of profitable business)
  • Establish relationships and understanding of the clients business and needs to Identify, qualify and unlock net new revenue opportunities
  • Financial management:
  • Ensure that the debtors days remain within the contract terms and follow up, where applicable
  • Ensuring that all billing is initiated timeously and in accordance with client agreements and purchase orders etc. Remain accountable to ensure that all billing for annuity, projects and time and material (T&M) work is initiated timeously and in accordance with client agreements and purchase orders

Customer perspective:

Account strategies and plan:

  • Establish formal account strategies and realisation plans to achieve sales targets and relationship value

Customer satisfaction:

  • Engaging with customers and resolve issues satisfactorily
  • Identify and match value propositions to the client's needs to show value for the client
  • Establish and maintain good business relationships with key stakeholders

Delivery oversight:

  • Ensure that the contracted SLA's are achieved
  • Facilitate the contract and service management reporting and submit to clients according to the negotiated schedule

Service Improvement:

  • perform account-specific risk assessments
  • Facilitate the lifecycle of service improvement plans (SIP'S)
  • Internal Perspective:
  • Proposals/bids/ quotes:
  • Contribute to, and assure quality of bids/quotes/proposals submitted to Gijima's pricing authority and clients

Contract Management:

  • Provide the Contract Administration team with all signed agreements and associated documents
  • Process Conformance:
  • Apply company policy, process and standards

Learning and Growth Perspecticve:

Teamwork, Engagement and knowledge sharing:

  • Participate in opportunities for knowledge sharing within the team and relevant communities of practice (COP's)

Execute personal development plan (PDP):

  • Participate in activities as described in personal development plan
