Senior Account Receiver Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing industry has an EE opportunity for a Senior Account Receiver Specialist.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant financial qualification (National Diploma or B Com)
• 6 to 8 years Credit Control experience in a corporate environment and to risk analysis.
• Be able obtain a satisfactory medical report from the company medical centre.
• Have an analytical ability, attention to detail, problem solving, professionalism, result driven, confidentiality and integrity traits.
• Computer literacy, knowledge of financial systems, inventory accounting and knowledge of ISO standards.
• Financial accounting knowledge.
• Inventory accounting

KPAs:

• Receive credit applications.
• Conduct credit checks.
• Compile documents according to procedures required for credit checks.
• Monthly preparation of accounts.
• Ensure that mathematical calculations on invoices are correct following the company policies.
• Follow up on the audit trail of all financial transactions.
• Capture all information received correctly.
• Report on:
  • Debtors
  • Debit and credit notes
  • Overdue accounts
  • Debtors’ days overdue.
• Implement the following:
  • A debt collection strategy.
  • Effective billing systems.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems.
• Receive all money that is due
• Ensure that the money is promptly deposited.
• Compile weekly and monthly reports.
• Provide reports to relevant stakeholders.
