An established, forward-thinking organisation is currently looking for a highly capable Senior Accountant to take charge of full accounting functions and strengthen their finance team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with statutory and SARS requirements, and guide junior team members. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-focused, solutions-driven professional ready to step into a key leadership position.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and review the work performed by junior accountants and debtors’ clerks.
- Prepare statutory returns and drive full SARS compliance across the finance function.
- Compile audit packs and coordinate with external auditors.
- Assist with month-end reporting, analysis, and financial insights.
- Support system enhancements and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom Accounting degree with completed SAIPA articles (non-negotiable).
- 2–3 years’ post-articles accounting experience.
- In-depth understanding of statutory reporting and compliance.
- Proficient in Evolution ERP, Custom Software, and Excel (including Macros).
