SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a seasoned and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join the accounting department of our technical client based in Boksburg

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player/manager with a solid understanding of Syspro ERP and proven experience in the OEM/Manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely and compliant financial reporting.
Manage general ledger functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Perform regular ledger reconciliations and support budget planning.
Analyze financial data and report on risks and performance.
Streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and fiscal regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the OEM/Manufacturing industry.
Strong leadership and management capabilities.
Proficient in Syspro ERP and financial procedures.
Experience overseeing multiple departments or complex business structures.
Excellent analytical skills with a strategic and detail-oriented mindset.
In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and the full MS Office Suite.
