SUMMARY:
Lead analytical lab operations and manage the full lifecycle of advanced instrumentation (GC-MS, HPLC, etc.) in an FMCG/specialty chemicals environment. Ensure accurate testing and verification of raw materials and finished products against strict specifications.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Manage calibration, maintenance, and certification of lab equipment (ISO 17025)
Perform advanced analysis using GC-MS, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis
Develop, validate, and document analytical methods and SOPs
Troubleshoot instruments and minimise downtime
Ensure quality compliance and support audits
Analyse and verify chemical compositions of raw materials and products

Requirements

BSc/MSc in Analytical or Industrial Chemistry
5–10 years’ experience in FMCG or chemical manufacturing labs
Strong hands-on experience with GC-MS, HPLC, FTIR
Knowledge of surfactants, polymers, and chemical formulations
Experience in ISO 17025 environments and calibration systems
