They are searching for an experienced back end specialist who can support their engineering roadmap and help strengthen the performance of their systems. You will play a meaningful part in building reliable applications, improving development processes and assisting a high performing team. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges and being part of a collaborative environment, this opportunity offers long term growth and constant learning.

Key Responsibilities

Offer direction to development teams and contribute to project delivery
Support design discussions and provide guidance for technical decisions
Ensure consistent application stability through solid coding practices
Improve existing systems to keep pace with modern technologies
Share knowledge and encourage continuous improvement within the team

Job Experience and Skills Required

A relevant qualification in Information Technology or similar field
Several years of experience building server side applications
Strong competency in modern development frameworks
Background working within collaborative delivery approaches such as Agile
Exposure to cloud infrastructure, integration patterns or messaging tools is beneficial
Proven experience designing and maintaining relational databases
Proficient programming capability using contemporary languages
Confident working with source control and build pipelines
Strong analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail
