SUMMARY:
Out client, a total engineering solutions company to their customers in the Engineering & Infrastructural Environment that is focused on electrical, control and automation is currently looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Senior Bookkeeper

Location: Amanzimtoti/Umbogintwini, KZN

Industry: Software Engineering Technology

Minimum Qualifications:

Matric
Certificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping
Minimum 7 yrs + exp as a Bookkeeper
Pastel experience - Compulsory

Roles and Responsibilities:

Reconciling bank statements and accounting records with internal controls
Reviewing financial data for accuracy and verifying that transactions have been recorded accurately
Reconciling accounts payable ledgers and accounts receivable ledgers
Calculating payroll deductions and filing required tax forms
Preparing reports on financial performance for management purposes
Preparing monthly invoices for services provided by outside vendors.
Analyzing historical data to identify trends and other information that can be used to improve business operations
Monitoring cash flow to ensure that the business has enough money to meet operating expenses
Preparing monthly payroll
Debtors and creditors
