POSITION INFO:

The role of the Senior Cloud Engineer is to be a technical advisor and be the overall technical escalation point for Cloud
Technologies and Solutions. The role includes installation, support, management, maintenance of internal and customer
data centre infrastructure. The senior Cloud Engineer is required to work closely with the CTO on innovation and technical
solutions. The Senior Cloud Engineer requires experience in server, storage, network, backup, virtualisation and security
technologies. The role requires expert knowledge and deep technical skill to troubleshoot and continuously improve data
centre infrastructure availability and performance. The role requires excellent documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications / Experience

• At least 12 years’ experience in working with data centre technologies
• VMware Technical Certified
• VMware Design Certified
• Advanced Storage certification
• Network certification
• Veeam Technical Certification
• Veeam Design certification
• Security certification
• Experience with Visio, PowerPoint and Word

• Respond to customer tickets (email) within 30 minutes
• Respond to customer telephone calls
• Attend customer meetings/workshops

• Technical presentations
• Work very closely with the CTO
