SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a dynamic, highly skilled and experienced Senior Commerical Financial Manager with a strong background in manufacturing for our client.

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA(SA) with expertise in financial management, budgeting, and advanced financial analysis. This role involves driving the financial performance of the business, providing strategic insights, and partnering with leadership to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting process to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance and profitability.
Partner with operational teams to assess and optimize cost structures, improve efficiency, and enhance margins.
Prepare and present financial models and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Manage financial risks and implement robust risk mitigation strategies.
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential.
8+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and business performance tracking.
Exceptional knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar).
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align financial objectives with business strategy.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
