As a Senior Credit Structuring Specialist, you’ll sit at the heart of it all — designing smart, sustainable financial structures that turn strategy into reality.

You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Economists, Engineers, and ESG experts to deliver financing solutions for sovereign, sub-sovereign, and strategic public sector initiatives. Your analytical edge, risk acumen, and deal-making instinct will directly influence development across the continent.

Key Responsibilities:

Structure and originate large-scale, cross-sector credit transactions aligned to mandate and policy frameworks.
Drive comprehensive due diligence — including modelling, risk analysis, and sector evaluation.
Create innovative financial structures, leveraging blended finance, sustainable debt tools, and credit enhancement mechanisms.
Engage with governments, sponsors, and project teams to unlock complex deals.
Produce and present credit assessments, governance papers, and investment memos that shape key decisions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: A Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk, or Business (Postgraduate preferred)
Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in credit risk, structuring, or deal origination — ideally within investment, wholesale, or development finance
- Deep expertise in credit analysis, due diligence, and risk-adjusted financial solutions
Skills:
- A strong grasp of sovereign and infrastructure financing dynamics
- Exceptional ability to engage with stakeholders and communicate complex insights with clarity and confidence
