SUMMARY:
We are expanding our Urban Infrastructure Division, and we are seeking a professionally registered Civil Engineer or Civil Technologist with a strong technical background and proven experience in the planning, design, and project delivery of large-scale municipal or regional water and wastewater systems.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in all project phases—from feasibility studies and detailed design to tender documentation, construction support, and commissioning oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of bulk water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities
Conduct hydraulic modelling and analysis using software such as EPANET and IDAS.
Develop and review technical reports, drawings, and tender documentation
Oversee contract documentation, BOQs, and compliance with SANS and other regulatory standards
Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and responding to RFIs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, electrical, and environmental professionals
Engage with clients, authorities, and stakeholders in a professional and solution-driven manner

Minimum Requirements

BSc / BEng / BTech in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Professionally Registered with ECSA (Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng)
Experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure
Solid experience with bulk pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and/or treatment systems
Proficiency in design software (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, IDAS, REVIT, MS Projects) and hydraulic modelling tools
Familiarity with relevant design codes and municipal/infrastructure standards
Strong report-writing and documentation skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
