POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established automotive manufacturing business supplying high-quality components to OEM and Tier 1 customers. Known for its strong engineering capability, the company focuses on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Lead and manage the engineering function, overseeing process optimisation, project delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive Lean Manufacturing practices, support new product introductions, and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards. Manage budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and provide technical expertise in automation, tooling, and process control, while ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ engineering management experience in automotive manufacturing
• Strong project management and process improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) expertise
• Knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949 and ISO 14001)
• Proven leadership, analytical, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
