Senior Litigation Secretary and PA to Director

SUMMARY:
Our client in Pretoria is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Secretary and PA to Director to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 qualification and a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Civil and Commercial litigation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential, alongside a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed. Excellent organizational and time-management skills are crucial for this role. While not mandatory, knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to foreclosure law would be considered a significant advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• 10 years of proven experience in Civil and Commercial litigation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to foreclosure law is preferred

• Typing, formatting and collating of notices and pleadings
• Incorporating amendments to documents and verifying that amendments have been effected correctly
• Preparing resource, counsel and client files
• Strong administration and organizational skills in order to manage the directors diary
• General office and personal administration
• Preparing pre-bills and billing memos (sending same to clients)
• Managing debtors with the accounts department
• FICA administration: following up to ensure the FICA requirements are complete
• Liaise with clients, counsel, presiding officers, experts and other service providers when instructed to do so by Lawyers
• Assisting in preparation of tender submissions and presentations
• Flight and accommodation arrangements for the Director
