SUMMARY:
We are looking for a senior operations professional to act as second-in-command to the Operations Manager. This role is focused on improving internal processes, supporting daily operational flow, and managing the coordination team to ensure service excellence and efficiency across the business. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing both people and systems in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. We are open to experienced candidates from a variety of industries who bring strong operational and team leadership experience.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Proven management or team leadership experience
Call center management experience would be an advantage
Strong customer service background with the ability to handle escalations professionally
Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, reporting, graphs, and VLOOKUP
Experience working on Sage or similar accounting software
Knowledge of stock control and stock management processes
Experience with quoting, invoicing and reconciliations
Strong process mindset with the ability to create workflows and SOPs
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities

Key Responsibilities

Act as operational support and second-in-command to the Operations Manager
Manage and support the coordinators and admin teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Develop, document and improve workflows, processes and standard operating procedures
Support stock management processes, including tracking, reporting and controls
Assist with quoting, invoicing and reconciliation processes in collaboration with finance
Ensure high levels of customer service are maintained and assist with resolving escalations
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
Help balance workloads across the team to improve turnaround times and service delivery
