Senior Process Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing Industry

SUMMARY:
A well-known and established international company specialising within the Chemical Manufacturing Industry requires the above to be responsible for managing and running the Plant manufacturing specific processes to make sure it proceeds according to approved procedure, safely and that product meets the specified specification and cost target.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for this role: 

• Tertiary qualification i.e. Chemical Engineering degree or diploma is essential.
• Previous experience having worked as a Chemical Process Engineer working within a Chemical plant is essential
• Previous experience having worked within a batch processing Chemical Manufacturing environment understanding mass balance is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading, managing and overseeing the risk analysis of the Process and checking the measure defined in risk analysis meeting is fully implemented.
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams regarding deviation management and analytics.
• Leading, managing and overseeing the check of the set-up of the Plant, ensuring the setup is correct according to P+ID.
• Continuously improving the specific processes to reduce and control costs, improve efficiencies.
• Ensuring and monitoring that the process is running according to specified procedure and that the operation is conducted in a safe way and fulfils GMP requirements.
• Overseeing, coordinating and providing information for raw material demands with various Departments to ensure smooth production.
• Reviewing the batch records, initiating necessary change requests, as well as monitoring the campaign cost control.
• Trouble shooting deviations and setting proper corrective and preventive actions according to SOP’s.
• Managing, overseeing and providing batch records or procedures for a specific process.
• Will introducing new products into the plant by collaborating assigned Projects as well as being able to transfer various technology.
• Participating and interacting with and in Customer and Regulatory Audits and annual Product reviews. 
• Analysing results and resolving errors to improve volumes, quality and efficiencies on the plant.
