Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst

SUMMARY:
Seeking a driven and highly skilled Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Fintech disruptor who operates across multiple industries.

POSITION INFO:
The successful individual must have a flair for looking between the lines as they will play an instrumental role in facilitating the protection and growth of company revenue by providing insights as to issues that are revenue impacting, and will work to strengthen the control environment to proactively identify revenue leakage.


Responsibilities:
 

• Continuous liaison with both Technical and other Operations teams to ensure that all new initiatives and product enhancements are comprehensively tested/ validated and that proper monitoring is done to ensure zero leakage after implementation.
• Maintaining a master list/ tracker of company product offerings and services and the revenue streams for each operator.
• Monitor performance by revenue stream to identify areas of opportunity/ revenue improvement.
• Reconciliations, to ensure all advances and repayments are properly reconciled to balance movements.
• Trend analysis, bad debt and revenue forecasting, in reference to the company’s performance targets.
• Ensure that appropriate closure responses on reconciliation issues are provided within defined SLAs.
• Collaboration with Finance Operations in reconciling revenue impacting balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy of balances and revenue impacts.
• Ensure all audit points are driven to closure in a timely manner.
• Preparation of monthly revenue assurance reports.
• Continuous monitoring of existing controls and adjusting checks, as necessary to ensure all revenue streams are properly covered.

• Professional Attributes:
  
  5-7 years’ work experience/ exposure working in a telecom, mobile commerce, or financial institution.
  Previous work experience in a similar role will be considered a strong advantage.
  Strong data analysis with a good eye for details.
  Proficiency in querying a large amount of data using SQL.
  Strong Presentation Skills
  Ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design, and implement effective practical recommendations.

  Qualifications:
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology/ Computer Science or related Business Field.
• Experience with PostgreSQL IS A MUST.
