Senior Retail Sales Manager (Steel and Tube Industry), Epping, Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Market related salary offered

Minimum requirements:
Minimum 4/5 years retail Sales Management experience
Experience within the Steel, Tube and Hardware Industry essential
Fluid control experience
Product Knowledge
Strong people Management experience

Duties and Responsibilities (Included, but not limited to the following):
Merchandising of products to stimulate increased sales
Advertising of products (within and out of store)
Purchasing of stock for Retail
Stock control including stock levels etc.
Introduction of new products and ranges
Cash control i.e. cash-up receipts and processing
Sales to calling customers
Security of the sales area
Budgeting and targets for sales and expenses
Promotions within the sales area and externally
Effective housekeeping
On the job training of staff
Maintenance and measurement of service and staff
Introduction of sales procedures and maintenance thereof
Marketing Intelligence and pricing
Pricing structures and Price lists
Control of delivery vehicle
Some administration duties
Morale and team building
Discount structures
Work extended hours when necessary
