SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership and the CFO to oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a key business unit. You will provide meaningful insights into business performance, build financial models to support strategic decisions, and help leadership understand the financial impact of key initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to influence high-level decisions, improve financial processes, and contribute to strategic planning while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full financial planning cycle including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting and provide insights into financial performance and business trends.
Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and cost management within the business unit.
Monitor financial performance against targets and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
Relevant Finance Degree (Postgraduate qualification advantageous)
CA(SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification preferred

Experience:
5+ years’ experience in financial management, FP&A, or commercial finance
Experience within the banking or financial services sector
Experience working closely with senior leadership or executive teams

Skills:
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Advanced financial reporting and forecasting ability
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights
