Senior Specialist: Corporate Risk & Assurance, based in Pretoria, Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:
The client is looking to hire a seasoned Senior Specialist: Corporate Risk and Assurance. The candidate should be a well-established senior because they will be expected to refine the company’s risk structure. It is of importance that as a candidate you have as risk background with a good understanding of audit functions.

This candidate will be expected to apply innovative changes and tackle all areas of the business with strategy. It is important to be able to present well and get your point across. The client is within the medical industry therefore it would be to your advantage to come from medical aid/scheme industry or be accepting of working in such a limited industry.

Duties:

Formulating risk management policies.
Identify risk against organizational objectives and articulate a risk appetite.
Implement ICT risk management methodologies.
Create fraud risk responses and plan with management.
Develops business continuity strategy.
Coordinate risk registers and action plans.

Qualifications:

Risk Management or Audit Degree.
Certified Risk Management Professional designation.

Experience:

6 years in the risk, audit or assurance industry.
4 of these years should be in a management role.
