SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established IT Services Company, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Desk Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, logging and managing incidents, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring excellent customer service to clients.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Qualifications Matric (Grade 12). Relevant IT qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) preferred. ITIL Foundation Certification will be advantageous. Experience Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an IT Service Desk or Technical Support environment. Experience supporting users remotely and onsite. Experience working with ticketing systems and service management tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line IT support to clients and end users. Log, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLA timeframes. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-related issues. Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and customer interactions. Follow incident management and service desk procedures. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. Assist with system installations, configurations, and user support where required. Required Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Good understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Professional, reliable, and team-oriented. Key Competencies Customer-focused approach. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Good time management and organisational skills. Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies. Salary: Market related
