Site HSE Partner

Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Site HSE Partner based in KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Appropriate diploma or degree in Healthy and Safety.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in HSE and Risk Management.
• The ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the site Occupational HSE and Process Safety risks.
• Implement and maintain the site IMS management systems.
• Ensure high levels of compliance at a site.
• Manage contractors at the site level.
• Develop and implement emergency management programs and ensure its effectiveness.
• Conduct regular HSE audits regarding the regular status of the site.
• Coordinate all incident investigations and highlight recommended remedial actions.
• Conduct site HSE training including induction, toolbox topics and monthly awareness themes.
• Assist in awareness campaigns including wellness days.
• Maintain responsible care and SQAS accreditation at site level.
• Ensure the implementation of HSE management IT systems such as IsoMetrix, SharePoint and more.
• Remain informed and continuously adapt to adhere to legislations and ensure all occupational health, safety and environmental activities across the organization.
• Ensure compliance to all required statutory permits.
• Ensure compliance to all environmental licenses and environmental authorizations.
