Snr Key Account Manager - HVAC/Ventilation Sector

SUMMARY:
Are you a Senior Sales Professional with experience in the HVAC or ventilation industry with a strong technical sales background, building relationships with B2B clients, commercial developers, project managers, contractors, or retail food outlets?
 
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in expanding the Western Cape market for a well-established national company. While the business has a strong footprint across South Africa, the Cape Town region presents significant growth potential.

You'll have the opportunity to develop the market, establish long-term client relationships, and ultimately build and lead a successful sales team as the region continues to grow.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS Matric certificate or equivalent qualification required A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline would be advantageous At least 9 years' experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior sales, key accounts, or similar leadership role Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, account growth, and business development strategies Experience or knowledge within the HVAC industry and related systems will be beneficial Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and networking skills Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic approach to decision-making Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support team members Confident presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and successfully close opportunities Customer-focused approach with a strong drive to achieve targets and deliver results DUTIES Create and execute sales plans to drive business growth and achieve set revenue objectives Research and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing markets Conduct client consultations, presentations, and negotiations to secure successful agreements Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting through to customer support after completion Analyse market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities Compile sales forecasts, performance reports, and regular updates for management review Promote the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities Collaborate with head office and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior sales team members to improve performance and development Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
