JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecommunications industry has an EE opportunity available for a Specialist: Digital Operations to be based in the Johannesburg area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

3 year Bachelor’s degree/Diploma engineering, telecommunications, IT, Digital or a related field in Information Technology or Digital Platforms
At least 5 years’ experience in a telecoms or IT environment. At least three years’ experience in leading or managing technical systems support/planning task teams
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an area of specialisation
Experience in supervising/managing others
Experience working in a medium to large organization
GSM, WCDMA, IT, VAS, LRA, IP/TX, , Portals (Web, Mobile), Web/APP design, Digital, Cisco, ITIL

KPAs:

Responsible for ensuring the ongoing operational support and availability of all Customer facing Digital Channel and Platforms
Ensure the implementation of service operations strategies
Ensure Digital Channel expansions, upgrades and software implementation are carried out to schedule and agreed quality standards
Work with, and direct Vendors in supporting and implementing changes in the systems.
Develop and drive the execution of agreed projects
Perform Business Analysis in line with the methodology and guidelines
Design, analyse and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness
Monitor revenue through existing reports, working with Revenue Assurance to identify and resolve revenue leakage
Assist all departmental projects to completion while being sensitive to all service affecting issues & decisions
