SUMMARY:
Drives the Supply Chain and responsible for the performance of the Supply Chain process in his/her perimeter from the analysis of the service / stock / cost compromise to the satisfaction of Customer demand.

Package: Basic Salary R62000, Plus Medical Aid, Provident Fund, 13^th cheque, Performance Bonus

Member of the management team of the entity, he/she drives the Supply Chain and responsible for the performance of the Supply Chain process in his/her perimeter from the analysis of the service / stock / cost compromise to the satisfaction of Customer demand.

MISSION: As the person in charge of the processes and results of customer service of his/her business activity, pilots the flows and the inventory from the start of the business activity until the warehouse deliveries, in compliance with the S&OP guidance, to ensure the delivery of committed orders and to achieve the intended service level.

Continuously improves the internal processes of the business activity to lower the inventory and end-to-end lead-time, especially by seeking excellence in the application of the foundations. Manages the planning department team of the business activity.

Performance Measurements

1.            Defines & manages stock holding policy, service level in conjunction with strategic marketing plans.

2.            Manages demand planning in such a way as to secure the right stock at the right time.

3.            Maintains the supply of inventory in line with logistics costs.

4.            Develops his/her team to ensure that the right skills are in place to manage the supply chain process.

5.            Keeps inactive and overstock/deficit at a minimum

Process

             Elaborate the annual and multiannual SC plans of the entity.

             Drive the demand forecasting process (Finished Products), including the lifecycle management of the products and services.

             Define the stock (standards of stocks and rules of management) and service policies.

Operational processes

             In collaboration with the sales management, drive the management of the demand (for example process of engagement).

             Drive the logistic invoice and the arbitrations cost/service including, if necessary, packaging

People Management

             Manage the hierarchical teams

             Have people progress.  Improve the quality of management through the training and the development of people. Develop diversity within the teams.

Progress

             Define the progress plan of Supply Chain, in particular on processes and IS tools.

Customs

             Understanding of all import, export customs process along with bond store understanding.

Key Expected Achievements

             The response scenarios to the tactical demand are proposed in collaboration with the business partner controller, to improve the service-cost-inventory performance triangle.

             The responsiveness and flexibility levers are mastered and developed to advance the business activity regarding its supply chain indicators.

             A production plan is drafted and distributed weekly to meet customer needs over the short-term horizon.

             A supply plan of semi-finished products, components, raw materials and consumables, is calculated each week and sent to the suppliers in coherence with the last validated master production plan.

             The production supervision is ensured to comply with the production commitments and flow control rules.

             The shipping operations of the products of the business operation are organised to guarantee the desired service and delivery times.

             The planning and flow control tools are used in depth.
