Pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Midrand is looking for an experienced candidate to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Production Order Management

To ensure the contribution tracker is an accurate representation of confirmed sales orders.
To ensure all approved documentation needed to support the production plan is available when needed.
Assist with establishing, implementing and controlling of new code allocation system to better control and allocate materials new weekly MRP purchasing process as well as ensuring clients are informed timeously of material required for products
Smooth functioning of the weekly planning process
Assist with establishing, implementing and controlling of new warehouse processes and new supply chain procedures and processes in line with the GMP and GDP.

Scheduling

Assist with Establishing, implementing and controlling of new warehouse processes and new supply chain procedures and processes in line with the GMP and GDP.
Assist with establishing, implementing and controlling of new code allocation system to better control and allocate materials new weekly MRP purchasing process as well as ensuring clients are informed timeously of material required for products

Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP)

To ensure the monthly cycle of S&OP meetings take place and actions put in place to ensure the plan is aligned to the confirmed sales orders in the system

Inventory Management

To manage the stock holding of raw and packaging materials to optimal levels ensuring sufficient starting materials to support the monthly production plans

QMS / CAPAs / SOPs

Standard Operating Procedures to be in place and functional for each department.
Corrective and Preventative Actions - Events that deviate from procedures or instructions must immediately be reported and investigated.

Business Profitability

To achieve business profitability by delivering the annual contribution target

Compliance with Health and Safety Legislation

Developing, implementing, and improving the health and safety plans, programmes and procedures in the workplace.
Lead compliance with respect to the OSHACT and ensure all employees with the operations/production department comply with the act, report all unsafe conditions and ensure they work safely at all times.

Requirements:

Formal Qualification in Supply Chain Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Computer Literate - Syspro and MOM will be an advantage
Proven experience in Supply Chain; experience as a Supply Chain Manager
