Supply Chain Planner

SUMMARY:

A large agricultural manufacturer is seeking a dynamic Demand and Supply Planner to be based in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related
• At least 3 years'' experience in Supply Chain Planning (inventories, forecasting and order activities within the supply chain) will be required
• Must be skilled in inventory management and have experience with inventory management software
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask are important
• Must have a valid driver''s license
• Above-average communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, including farmers, will be required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Building and developing supply chain models to ensure efficient supply chain processes.
• Monitoring order to forecast plan and meeting client’s requirements by analysing current stock.
• Projecting future sales to ensure supply and demand is met and amending where required.
• Updating data to ensure availability of information in the form of business intelligence to drive decision making.
• Analysing stock flows to evaluate trends and applying the information to generate solutions.
• Utilising data to solve complex problems and concluding any outstanding problems.
• Performing order bank management and managing stock availability.
• Analysing bill of material (BOM) to ensure accurate material consumption and costing.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
