POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

Review VAT, Withholding Tax calculations and ensure accurate and timely submission of returns.
Assist in coordinating responses to tax authority queries and collating required documentation.
Support corporate tax compliance through preparation of tax computations and disclosures.
Track tax payments and follow up on outstanding vendor reconciliations.
Assist with monthly tax reporting and audit preparations to maintain compliance.
Participate in tax training initiatives for the finance team.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Relevant tax or accounting qualification (e.g., CTA, BCom Accounting).
2-4 years experience in tax compliance, preferably within multi-country African operations.
Strong understanding of VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial data.
