POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

Oversee VAT, Withholding Tax, , and Corporate Tax compliance for all African operations.
Review, prepare, and submit tax returns and disclosures on time, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
Manage timely tax payments and coordinate with relevant authorities to resolve queries.
Lead tax audit processes and support external auditors during year-end reviews.
Facilitate tax compliance training for finance teams to ensure up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes.
Analyze monthly tax movements and assist with SOX audit controls and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Relevant accounting or tax qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CTA) essential.
5+ years’ experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably across multiple African jurisdictions.
Strong understanding of VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and gaming tax compliance.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external tax authorities.
High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
