SUMMARY:
A growing property investment group is hunting for a Tax and Reporting Manager who’s as passionate about numbers as they are about meeting deadlines and getting the details right.

POSITION INFO:
This isn’t your typical 9-to-5. Join a forward-thinking property group where you'll be the go-to tax expert across multiple companies and trusts. You’ll take full ownership of tax compliance, ensure that financial statements are spot-on, and keep operations running smoother than a well-balanced spreadsheet.

Duties:

Own and manage full tax compliance for the group – from provisional to deferred tax
Handle SARS audits and queries confidently and professionally
Prepare and review annual financial statements for all group entities and trusts
Maintain tax schedules and contribute to tax-efficient structuring (within the rules, of course)
Deliver accurate financial and tax reporting to the CEO, CFO, banks, and other key stakeholders
Support monthly balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews
Jump in on ad hoc projects and assist with whatever the CFO throws your way

Qualifications and Experience Required:

CA(SA) qualified
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing all types of tax and SARS interactions
Experience with trusts is highly beneficial
Exposure to property or investment industries is preferred
Detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and cool under deadline pressure
