Looking for an experienced technical account who has a passion for working in the insurance field. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Must have strong IFRS knowledge
Be responsible for developing communication and to train the relevant internal and external stakeholders
Finalising and managing financial statements and reports
Provide support and IFRS technical guidance for projects in the necessary Group.
Assist, finalise, implement, and test the IFRS 17 financial report process

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting Honours
CA (SA)

Experience:

Completed articles
Experience in IFRS reporting
Must be currently employed or/and have previously worked in an insurance company
IFRS 17 implementation
A minimum of 2 years’ post articles experience in an advisory role.

Skills & Competencies:

Sound attention to detail
Excellent negotiation skills
Must be able to work well under pressure
Exceptional MS excel skills
Showcase problem solving skills
