JOB DESCRIPTION:

A multinational leader in the insurance industry is looking for a well-versed Technical Director to join their team in Mozambique. This entity has been around since 1996 and is an employer of choice. The ideal candidate would be fluent in Portuguese and would have extensive experience in the general insurance industry. The role will support the technical lead in:

attracting and retaining clients by researching and analysing their needs
researching insurance products, negotiating their rates, terms and conditions
leading technical teams to support clients

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications & Experience

10 or more years’ experience in the insurance industry
Fluent in Portuguese
Knowledge in:
performing risk analysis and providing final insurance solutions
negotiating unique and tailored solutions for clients
negotiating rates, terms and conditions
negotiating with international reinsurance market specialists
renewing and amending existing policies for clients
seeking insurance coverage from insurers
