Education:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in technical or project sales within an electrical/industrial environment
Strong knowledge of heavy-duty electrical equipment, power systems, switchgear, transformers, or control systems
Proven track record in selling into mining, utilities, or large industrial clients
Experience with custom-built or engineered electrical solutions
Ability to interpret technical specifications and provide fit-for-purpose solutions
Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and contract experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries
Promote and sell industrial electrical equipment and custom power solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Provide technical consultation and develop tailored solutions
Prepare and present professional quotations, proposals, and tenders
Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to project closure
Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and client engagements
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity
