SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Tender Manager to lead and optimise the end-to-end tender process in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This role is perfect for a confident, detail-oriented, and analytical professional who thrives on managing multiple tenders simultaneously, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective outcomes.

POSITION INFO:
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing tender evaluations, negotiations, and presentations while driving compliance and value for the business.

Qualifications & Experience

BCom Degree in Finance, Governance, or related field (Essential)
4–5 years’ proven experience in tender management, procurement, or contracts
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel – Intermediate)
Familiarity with e-tender ERP systems is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end tender process, from evaluation through to execution and closure
Facilitate tender briefings, negotiations, and submissions with bidders
Prepare, present, and report on tender progress and outcomes to stakeholders
Ensure all tender processes are conducted efficiently, accurately, and within deadlines
Build and maintain supplier relationships, including partnerships with universities and strategic partners
Lead negotiations to secure cost savings and ensure alignment with budgets
Ensure compliance with all internal policies, governance frameworks, and project timelines
Support marketing and business development initiatives tied to tenders
