JOB SUMMARY:
Our renowned client in the insurance industry is seeking a Long-Term Underwriting consultant to be based in Sandton

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Must have Grade 12
Must be MS Office Literate
Minimum 2-3 years experience as a life insurance medical underwriter
Experience in Individual life insurance products such as Life cover, Permanent Disability cover, Temp Income Cover, and Critical Illness
Sound Business and Operational knowledge of Insurance Industry administrative processes
Good knowledge of the business administration platforms
Familiar with Compliance Processes and Procedures in the Insurance Industry
Experience in underwriting temporary (income protector) and permanent disability, critical illness as well with signing authority (Essential)
Decline excessive risks or impose additional conditions or increase premiums for high risk
