Vehicle-Specific Product Specialists

POSITION INFO:
We're looking for two experienced and commercially minded Vehicle-Specific Product Specialists to join our team and drive the development and expansion of aftermarket product ranges, with a particular focus on the growing Chinese and Indian vehicle market. The successful candidates will identify market opportunities, develop competitive product ranges, manage supplier relationships and ensure strong product coverage, profitability and customer value. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement vehicle-specific product strategies across engine, braking and suspension categories. Analyse vehicle parc data, VIN information and cataloguing systems to identify market gaps and opportunities. Drive new product introductions aligned with customer demand and business objectives. Source and develop competitive product ranges with local and international suppliers. Support the growth of private-label brands, including FAIPRO. Collaborate with suppliers on pricing, quality and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate product information using cataloguing systems such as TecDoc, Autocat and ELCB. Monitor product performance, sales trends and profitability. Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to launch new products. Support pricing strategies that improve competitiveness and profitability. Skills & Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field. 5-8 years' experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. Strong knowledge of vehicle components and aftermarket product categories. Experience in product development, sourcing and range management. Experience with TecDoc or similar cataloguing systems. Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Strong commercial, analytical and supplier management capabilities. Skills Required Automotive aftermarket product knowledge Vehicle component knowledge, particularly engine, braking and suspension Product development and range management Strategic sourcing and supplier management Market and competitor analysis Strong commercial and business acumen Advanced Excel and data analysis Experience with TecDoc, Autocat or similar cataloguing systems Pricing and profitability analysis Strong negotiation and communication skills
