AWS Cloud Practitioner / Developer
long-term contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Skills Requirement:

AWS in general, and in particular Amazon Lambda, ECS, S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch
Java, Python, or TypeScript
Infrastructure as Code
Git and CI/CD
Behaviour/test driven development
Security, scalability, fault-tolerance, monitoring and operations
Databases, especially document databases
Web services / REST API
Single-page application front ends

Skills Requirements (advantageous):

AWS solution architecture
AWS CDK
Amazon Glue, Athena
MongoDB
Angular
Jenkins
Docker
AGILE and/or SCRUM

Qualifications:

Computer science, engineering, or mathematics degree, or equivalent proven experience
Several years of experience building solutions using AWS, and using
Several years of experience using Java, Python, or TypeScript

Responsibilities:

Contributing to AWS solution architecture decisions
Identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve our solutions on AWS
Writing requirements and tests
Implementing changes using AWS CDK, Java, Python, and/or Angular
