JOB SUMMARY:
One of South Africa's leading Retailers is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years experience within advertising, FMCG or retail industry.
Proven track record of effective management of sales, meeting and increasing sales budgets.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of the POS industry is helpful, but not essential.
Strong computer skills.
Confidentiality.
Time-management and organization skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

Must be customer focused and flexible with good relationship-building skills.
Innovative thinker, continuously looking at new ways to grow revenue.
Strong communicator, works well in a team, displays leadership skills.
Formulate and implement account development plans.
Ability to work with multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Self driven.
Must be well-read, open to new ideas and influences and able to react to changing trends.
Achieve and exceed assigned targets.
Good business sense and sales ability with strong presentation skills.
Track and report on key sales.
Provide clients with insights on execution opportunities.
Ability to resolve conflict issues with customers in a professional manner.
Deal with all client requests in a timeously.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Management of client contracts.
Maintain a good relationship with clients, third party companies and all stakeholders.
Track and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
