Step into a pivotal accounting role with a large, multi-site business where you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information across several operating entities. Working closely with both finance and operational stakeholders, you'll drive accurate reporting, maintain strong financial governance, and provide meaningful insights to support business performance. POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Oversee the full accounting cycle across multiple business units Produce monthly financial reports, commentary, and performance analysis Consolidate financial results across various entities and operational locations Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for external audits Address accounting queries, reporting variances, and control issues Assist with tax calculations, regulatory filings, and statutory reporting requirements Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and streamline finance processes Support the implementation and optimisation of financial systems and reporting tools Provide guidance and technical support to junior finance team members Partner with operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and business performance Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' accounting experience within an automotive environment Proven experience preparing management accounts and consolidated financial reports Sound knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial governance principles Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel proficiency with the ability to work with large datasets Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business Experience reviewing work and providing support to less experienced team members Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines Qualification: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional accounting designation or membership advantageous Completed articles beneficial For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
