JOB SUMMARY:
Our client requires an Architect Cloud Pre-sales on a 6–12-month contract to provide technical expertise of the business with Cloud solutions to both architect and implement transformational solutions for existing and prospective customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Deliverables

Work closely with Sales, Account Management and Service Delivery teams to design solutions and architectures that align with customers’ business requirements.
Conceptualise and design technical solutions required to address customer requirements and recommend solutions which balance business returns and value to clients.
Contribute to the development, review and analysis of the Cloud Products and Services roadmaps to ensure alignment with client requirements.
Own the technical relationship with customers and provide prescriptive guidance on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.
Design Cloud product-specific pre-sales architecture within approved operational limits, as per product specifications.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, explaining and expounding on Cloud Product and Services offerings, to existing as well as prospective clients.
Lead the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution to meet client business requirements.
Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in response to client requirements, by examining client infrastructure, architecture, system capabilities and business challenges.
Own the proposed Cloud solution and transition the implementation to the Delivery team.
Work with Cloud Products and Alliances teams to leverage partnerships for complex solutions that may be outside of client’s expertise
Interface with customers to discuss their cloud planning activities to influence and shape their cloud strategy and enable their digital transformation.
Work collaboratively with the Cloud Enterprise Architect to create best solution designs to deliver maximum customer value.

Education:

Minimum of 3-year diploma preferably in an ICT discipline.
Fluent in language of country with basic command of English.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a business solutions pre-sales environment, servicing clients.
Deep understanding of cloud computing products and services.
Experience engaging with and providing Telecom solutions to senior stakeholders within large enterprise client accounts.
Experience working in a medium sized organisation
