Associate Director – Media Sales

SUMMARY:
We’re looking for an Associate Director – Media Sales with proven expertise in retail media, FMCG advertising, and digital sales leadership to join a fast-growing commercial team. In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing sales division, develop strategic client partnerships with top-tier retail and FMCG brands, and deliver data-driven advertising solutions that boost measurable business results. POSITION INFO:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within retail and FMCG sectors
Manage end-to-end client relationships to maximize retention and growth
Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities within media portfolios
Lead and mentor a team of 8–10 Account Managers/Executives
Drive new business initiatives targeting FMCG and non-endemic suppliers
Oversee strategic account plans and ensure flawless campaign delivery
Leverage analytics, historical data, and market trends to optimize campaigns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence

Skills & Experience (Not negotiable):
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5+ years’ experience in media sales, account management, or retail marketing
Proven track record in leading sales teams and managing complex pipelines
In-depth knowledge of retail media, FMCG, or digital advertising
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data
Mastery of media planning principles and marketing theory
Exceptional negotiation and client relationship management skills
Ability to lead and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment
