Purpose Of The Job:
 
Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Automotive Division Finance Manager to join their dealership group. This role is suited to a finance professional with strong dealership accounting experience combined with exposure to divisional or group-level financial reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and operational finance functions across the division while ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial controls. The role requires a highly organised individual with advanced Excel capability and a solid understanding of dealership financial structures and reporting requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Oversee divisional financial reporting and month-end processes
• Prepare and analyse management accounts and financial reports
• Consolidate and manage group reporting requirements
• Ensure accurate financial reporting across dealership operations
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators
• Perform financial analysis and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Work closely with dealership accountants and operational management teams
• Assist with audits, reconciliations, and financial reviews
• Compile and maintain detailed Excel-based reporting and financial models
• Support senior management with financial insights and reporting analysis

• Previous experience as a Dealership Accountant within the motor industry is essential
• Exposure to divisional or group financial reporting required
• Strong Excel reporting and spreadsheet management skills essential
• Evolve system experience highly advantageous
• Matric certificate essential
• Accounting degree or related financial qualification advantageous
• Strong understanding of dealership financial processes and controls
• Stable employment history
• Valid driver’s licence
