JOB SUMMARY:
A pioneering Finance Solutions company is looking to hire an analytical Billing and Collections Officer to join their dynamic team based in Randburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring billing is timeously and correctly calculated and captured on the accounting system. You will also take responsibility for collections on client accounts who have received funding from the company.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Ensure the accuracy of repayment calculations, including interest on arrears, settlement, and amortisation calculations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Generate invoices and credit notes
Debtor allocations and reconciliations
Customer liaison and query resolution
Preparation of collection repayments due
Management and resolution unpaid instructions
Internal legal team liaison

Education Requirements:

BCom in Finance / Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

3 to 5 years' experience in a billing and collections role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is essential
Exposure to SMEs
Xero Accounting experience will be preferred
Microsoft 365 experience will be preferred
Ability to take initiative, learn quickly and strive for results
Analytical mind
Financial acumen
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player

Job Requirements and Skills:

2-3 years’ experience in administration/reconciliation position
Advanced MS Excel required
Understanding of reconciliations important
Analytically and pays attention to detail
Customer service orientated
Results driven
Build and maintain relationships
