This is not a signâoff role. It’s an opportunity for a handsâon Financial Manager to own a complex, highâvolume revenue environment while operating at senior stakeholder level and making tangible business impact.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a fastâgrowing, infrastructureâfocused organisation operating across multiple highâcriticality sites in South Africa. They are seeking a commercially sharp Financial Manager to take full ownership of a key legal entity while also playing a central role in the organisation’s overall revenue oversight. This role sits at the intersection of operational finance, commercial decisionâmaking, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll act as a trusted financial partner to executiveâlevel stakeholders, manage a distributed finance team, and remain deeply involved in the detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Full endâtoâend financial management of a legal entity, operating as a miniâCFO
Revenue management across a highâvolume billing environment
Oversight of debtors, collections, and client escalations
Handsâon operational finance including journals, reconciliations, and analysis
Commercial involvement in contract reviews, pricing, and sales engagement
Management, coaching, and development of a geographically distributed finance team
Partnering with Câsuite stakeholders and senior management
Ensuring compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and financial policies

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom / BAcc or equivalent 3âyear tertiary qualification in Finance
CA(SA) or CIMA
3 to 6+ years’ experience in a Financial Manager role
Strong technical accounting exposure
Proven IFRS knowledge, with IFRS 16 experience nonânegotiable
Demonstrated people and stakeholder management experience
Experience in highâvolume, deadlineâdriven environments
Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
Commercial acumen and problemâsolving skills
Confident communication with senior stakeholders
Fully onsite role
Handsâon operating style with ownership mentality
