As the Business Development Engineer, you will collaborate with technical and commercial teams to identify new opportunities, understand client needs, and propose value-driven solutions tailored to the process industries.

Education:

BSc / BEng in Chemical Engineering
Commercial or business development training is advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3–5 years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or process engineering
Exposure to or experience in the chemical, metals, or mining sectors
Strong technical communication and solution-selling abilities
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Self-motivated with a strategic and analytical mindset
Willingness to travel locally and regionally

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and grow a pipeline of business in target industries
Engage with engineering and procurement stakeholders to understand challenges and propose solutions
Collaborate internally to align technical offerings with market needs
Meet and exceed sales and business growth targets
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
