SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Development Manager to join their team. You will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our client base. Leveraging your expertise in sales, market research, and relationship-building, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to cultivate partnerships with prospective clients and key stakeholders in the freight and logistics industry

POSITION INFO:
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Market Research and Analysis: â

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape. â
Analyze data and insights to develop strategic plans and target specific industries or regions for business development opportunities. â

Lead Generation and Prospecting:â

Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing efforts. â
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients by actively seeking out and qualifying new business opportunities. â

Client Relationship Management:â

Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations. â
Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions and effectively communicate our value proposition. â

Proposal Development and Presentation: â

Develop compelling proposals and presentations that articulate our services, capabilities, and competitive advantages. â
Deliver persuasive pitches and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our ability to meet their unique freight and logistics requirements.â

Negotiation and Contract Management: â

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. â
Work closely with legal and operations teams to ensure contract compliance and smooth onboarding of new clients. â

Performance Tracking and Reporting: â

Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue targets using CRM software or other relevant tools. â

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS â

Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the freight and logistics industry. â
Strong understanding of freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management processes. â
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. â
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. â
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.â
