POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: A large, established organisation operating across manufacturing and supply-chain related environments is looking for a Chief Accountant to join its Pretoria East finance team. This is a senior accounting opportunity suited to a technically strong finance professional who enjoys working across multiple entities and understands the complexity of group reporting, financial analysis, and operational finance. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting while providing leadership and meaningful insights to management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial accounting across multiple entities Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports Manage general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes Consolidate financial information across multiple entities Analyse financial performance and provide management reporting Prepare reporting packs and financial analytics Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Ensure statutory and accounting compliance Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team Job Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: Honours \/ CGMA highly advantageous CA(SA) highly advantageous Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant finance experience Strong experience working across multiple entities Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or a related operational environment advantageous Leadership experience essential Skills & Systems: Oracle - essential Strong financial reporting and consolidation experience Excellent reporting analytics capabilities Advanced Microsoft Excel Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent stakeholder communication skills Leadership mindset with the ability to influence and guide others Why consider this opportunity?
